The Rose Garden Apartments is situated on the edge of the Albany Lakes across the bridge from Westfield Mall, very close to the Albany Busway Station, QBE Stadium, and Albany Stadium Pool. It will eventually be the largest apartment complex in New Zealand, with over 800 apartments. CMP have completed Stage 1, which consists of six separate seven-storey buildings around a large landscaped podium, plus a new 250m long shared-space road.
There are 201 apartments (up to 4 bedrooms) with balconies, 17 retail units, 3 offices, 3 live/work units, and 205 undercover carparks. The project was commenced early, with design being carried out in tandem with construction, to help achieve an early handover of the complex for the client. CMP worked closely with all of the consultants to facilitate this fast-track commencement.
