Auckland Winner of 2002, Tourism and Leisure Property Award.
CMP Construction was appointed by the client to take over this partially completed project in a prime downtown Auckland location with a challenging site over water and a single site access through heavy commuter traffic.
The outcome is a prestigious 167-room hotel with bars, restaurants and function rooms, and Hilton’s New Zealand head offices.
The fit out was of an extremely high standard and CMP worked with a number of designers based in offices around the world.
At its peak this project employed 150 people on site working up to 16 hours a day. The lagging construction timetable was brought up to schedule and the hotel was completed on time, with an acceptable financial outcome.
